How to do a hotel daily revenue audit with Claude
The daily revenue audit (DRA) is yesterday's business, reconciled. The Finance & Controller skill breaks revenue down by department, separates adjustments and tax, totals settlements, reconciles to the night-audit close and flags any variance that needs investigating.

- Yesterday's night-audit close and revenue reports from the PMS
- POS totals by outlet
- Settlement reports — cash, cards by brand, direct bill, OTA virtual cards

- Investigate the variances. Check rooms revenue by rate code, source and segment, F&B by outlet, other revenue, adjustments and tax collected. Any variance above your threshold triggers an investigation.

- F&B revenue by outlet
- Other revenue (parking, spa, retail, resort fee, attrition, cancellation)
- Adjustments (comps, rebates, employee, manager-discretionary)

Review before you send. The output is a strong first draft, not a final answer. The skill asks for missing pieces before it writes, but you remain responsible for anything you send, sign, pay or publish.
